How Flic Works
Three triggers. Endless combinations.
Over 800 000 people use Flic
1 click turns on my kitchen lights - 2 clicks turn off my kitchen lights - Hold turns off ALL lights throughout my house.
I would say that this button has streamlined many ritualistic scenarios. I’ve ordered more. Wish I’d bought the six-pack now. Never mind. I’m sure I’ll be back.
Thanks for an innovative add-on that ties in neatly with my automation.
I’ve had a great couple of weeks testing the new Flic Twist. It’s definitely a device I see myself getting more of to setup all over my home. It pairs easily with their hubs, and adds a knob function on top of the push controls of their Flic 2 buttons. Their integrations with Sonos and Lifx have really elevated the ease of controlling these devices around my home, especially for family and guests. With new integrations and features planned, I can wait to see what other twists the Shortcut Labs team has in store for us!
Even the Smart Home Enthusiasts Choose Flic
Choosing Your Ideal Flic
- Perfect for households
- Intuitive for the whole family

Flic Twist always requires the presence of a Flic Hub, whereas Flic 2 offers the flexibility to be directly connected to your smartphone or to any Flic Hub. The main benefit of using a Flic Hub is that your setup will always stay on, regardless of the presence of your smartphone.
We recommend the Hub Mini for households. Meanwhile, we recommend the Hub LR for more advanced setups and automations as well as for businesses.
