Setup your Flic Duo in three simple steps
Setting up your Flic Duo is simple and takes just a few minutes. Customize button pushes and gestures to control your smart home effortlessly.
1. Open the Flic App:
Assign actions to Push, Double Push, and Hold, just like other Flic buttons.
2. Add a Gesture Trigger:
Press “Add Trigger,” perform your desired gesture, and get confirmation when it’s recognized.
3. Assign an Action:
Select from our list of integrations and link it to your gesture.

Integrations with the Flic Duo
Flic Duo shares the same robust third-party integrations as the Flic Button, making it compatible with a wide range of devices and services. While some integrations work directly with your smartphone, others require the Flic Hub for advanced functionality. Popular integrations include Amazon Alexa, HomeKit*, Matter, IFTTT, Philips Hue, SONOS, and LIFX, with new partners continuously being added.
Do I Need a Hub?
Almost all Flic features and integrations work on iOS, Android, Flic Hub Mini and Flic Hub LR except for the following exceptions below.
However, it for ideal perforance in stability and latency it is recommended to use a Flic Hub.

Using a Flic Hub means your Flic Duo works independently of a phone, allowing anyone to use the buttons at home or work, even when you’re away. It also unlocks more integrations and full functionality for an enhanced experience.
Flic Hub LR
The Flic Hub LR is ideal for advanced users, offering Apple HomeKit support, an audio jack, Ethernet, 5GHz WiFi, and an IR port for controlling TVs and other IR devices. Fully programmable with our SDK, it also functions as a Matter controller, expanding compatibility with all Matter-enabled devices.
Flic Hub Mini
The Flic Hub Mini features a compact, optimized design perfect for basic home automation. It supports Bluetooth 5 Long Range (up to 50m/150ft) and now acts as a Matter controller, enabling Flic Buttons and Twists to work seamlessly with all Matter-enabled devices.
